Warping trapeze
$110.00
I don’t know how I would beam on a warp without my warping trapeze. (Okay, I have occasionally employed my in-house weaving assistant, aka Scotty, when beaming up, er, on a warp.) With my warping trapeze, I am able to beam on a smooth, evenly tensioned warp in record time all by myself—the longer, the better.
I will be posting instructions (Nov. 2025) on how to build your own trapeze to use with a Lilla loom—it’s not difficult but does require woodworking tools like a large drill bit, saw, and jigsaw or bandsaw. Shipping a trapeze is cost prohibitive because of the length of the boards and rod, but if you’re based in Southern California and are willing to pick one up, I will happily make one for you.
