Card corral
Peter Collingwood’s clever creation: a card corral to hold your tablet weaving cards while threading. Use it when you have a threaded-in design with multiple colors and precise threading and card order. A helpful “third hand,” or clip, holds a card upright for threading. Expert woodworker Don Betterley improves on Collingwood’s design by adding moveable corral posts to accommodate various card sizes: larger (3.25” to 3.5”) and smaller (2.5”). Corral comes with two clamps that can be secured from any two corners of the corral.
I use my card corral when I have wound a warp on my warping mill. I thread from my warp chain and then move the warp with threaded cards to Don Betterley’s Better Loom for tablet weaving. Thread on!
