Växbo Linen 12/1, unbleached

$28.00

Gorgeous line linen from Växbo Lin, a small spinning mill in Sweden just north of Stockholm. Växbo Lin wet-spins European flax grown in France and Belgian into a strong, shiny line linen deserving of your weaving genius. I especially adore this beguiling silver-gray (mithril?) unbleached 12/1 linen. I use it in everything from heirloom tablecloths to everyday hand towels.

Växbo Lin no longer spins 12/1 linen. Once these tubes are gone, they’re gone!

250 gram tubes. Approximately 1,810 meters (1,985 yards) per tube.

European-grown flax spun in Sweden.

The fabric in the photo was woven on a 16/2 cotton warp sett two ends to a dent in a 70/10 reed (14 epc) using this unbleached 12/1 linen as weft. Mixes well with 16/1 linen.
